NO FAULTFINDING
(God's Love Is Eternal, Irrespective Of Your Flaws)
TO THE BIBLE: Jeremiah 31:3 MSG
"GOD told them, "I've never quit loving you and never will. Expect love, love, more love!"
LET'S TALK
Michael was all wrapped up in the service, worshipping God with his hands lifted high. Suddenly, he remembered something wrong he had done the day before, and slowly he put down his hands. He felt condemned, thinking God was still angry with him. He didn't know that all he needed to do was confess his sin to Him and receive His forgiveness.
God never looks out for your faults so He can punish you. No, He's too loving for that! The Bible lets us know that God is love, not judgment: "And we ourselves know and believe the love which God has for us. God is love..." (1 John 4:16 GNB). He'll never quit loving you regardless of your faults. You may have made a mistake now or done some bad things in the past, but staying dejected or depressed won't put things right. Instead, repent and say, “Lord, forgive me." Once you repent and ask His forgiveness, He receives you and establishes you on the right path.
Take advantage of God's unconditional love for you today. Get to understand His loving nature and let thoughts of His love fill your heart today and always.
GO DEEPER
|| John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
|| Romans 8:32-34 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.
PRAY
Thank you Lord, for making provision for me to live free of guilt and condemnation. I acknowledge and take full advantage of your love for me today, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
